A severe t-storm watch is now in effect until 11:00 pm.
Let’s be weather-aware for the next several hours. In this kind of airmass, storms could fire off at any moment.
The main threat timeframe has changed and is now 7:00 – midnight, though we should always be weather-aware when a watch is issued. The threat timeframe is earlier than the previous one because of this lone storm in souther-central Kentucky.
A cluster of storms has formed in western Kentucky and another storm has formed in south central Kentucky. Both batches of storms have prompted the issuance of a severe t-storm watch.
Let’s all be weather-aware and make sure anyone with outdoor plans tonight knows about these storms. If you know anyone at Dale Hollow Lake make sure they know about this situation.
I’ll be watching it all!
The radar shows our lone storm in south-central Kentucky, ahead of the clouster of storms in western Kentucky.
