MM’s Tuesday 5-Day

Weather forecast issued Tuesday, July 18, 2023

Stay tuned for updates throughout the day!

Proud to offer severe wx support for emergency services!

Local Weather Concerns:

Severe Storms and Flooding

The threat of strong to severe storms will be with us today, especially this afternoon and evening. If you have outdoor plans, please stay tuned to the forecast and check your radar often.

Overnight and into Wednesday….an axis of heavy rainfall will set up across Middle TN. The exact details of where exactly the heaviest rain will fall is a bit unclear, but areas affected by that rainfall could pick up several inches of rain that could lead to flooding.

I’ll keep you posted throughout the day.

Pictured below is the severe storm outlook for today. This map updated at 8:00 a.m. and is showing a more extensive severe weather threat than when I recorded the YouTube forecast earlier this morning. We’ll watch for a complex of storms to drop in from Missouri this afternoon, though any storm that develops today could easily become severe.

  1. Hi Mark,
Do you have a preferred app and/or website for radar? I used to have a link on my weather app, but new phone & different app now, no radar šŸ™

    1. I’m actually working on that, Anita. Stay tuned! I definitely need that.
