Shower and t-storm chances remain elevated overnight. A few strong storms are possible but widespread severe weather is not expected. I’ll keep my weather radio, just in case, and jump on here if there is anything you would need to know about. We are highlighted in the marginal risk for severe storms tonight, which is the lowest of the severe weather risk categories.
The current radar is rather active across Middle TN, with a cluster of storms right on top of the Nashville area. It’s not a good night to be in downtown Nashville. We also have some storms near the plateau and they have been producing some cloud-to-ground lightning strikes. The good news is that none of these storms are severe. I’ll keep an eye on things.
Sunday will be a weather-aware day, as severe storm chances are a bit higher. I’ll have a full update on that in the morning. You all have a good night!
