The complex of storms that I spoke about this morning has regenerated a few storms in northern Middle TN. Those are moving east and have been expanding in coverage a bit over the past hour. Those will be moving across the plateau between 5:30 and 6:30. Those are not expected to be severe, but they do contain lightning and some heavy downpours of rain.
Another, much stronger, complex of storms is developing in West TN. A severe t-storm watch has been issued for parts of West TN for those storms. Those are also moving east and, if they hold together, would arrive in the 10:00 – midnight timeframe.
