Welcome Rain Coming
A weak system along the northern Gulf Coast will send clouds our way today. That system is too far south and too weak to bring us precip.
Clouds stick around for Thursday, though we should see a peak of sun from time to time. The dry weather will persist through Friday, though clouds will begin to increase once again as we end out the week. Those clouds are ahead of a powerful Gulf storm system that will be moving in for the weekend. Precip with this storm may mix with snow when it begins Friday night, but impacts are not expected. Any wintry mix will soon turn to cold rain and that rain will fall through Saturday morning. A snowflake could mix in at any time but impacts from wintry weather are not expected at this time. I will continue to monitor this closely.
A few showers will likely redevelop Sunday with a weak system sliding to our north. Those showers could also mix with snowflakes but, once again, impactful wintry precip is not expected. More chances for rain will become this 5-Day period, as an active and wet weather pattern looks to continue.
