Forecast Summary
The storms that were causing the greatest concern are skirting the TN/KY border and movine eastward. Outflow from this complex of storms is pushing souhward, which is causing some new development all along the TN/KY border and even a heavy shower in northern Fentress County. That outflow is the result of rain cooled air left behind by the complex of storms. That air is trying to move southward and acts as a sort of cold front, on which new storms can fire off in this hot, humid, and unstable environment. Some of these storms may track more southeastward through the evening and I’ll be keeping an eye on that.
As you all know, it’s hot and humid outside and it won’t take much to set off a storm. We remain in a marginal risk for severe storms through the evening.
