Yesterday’s Statistics

The weather station at the airport is out of order.

Yesterday’s Rainfall

Tropics

A tropical depression could form at any time, as a well-organized system moves into the eastern Gulf over the next 24 hours. This system will then track eastward, away from Tennessee. Aside from a few clouds, we are not expecting impacts from this system to the Cumberland Plateau.

The next named storm will be Debby.

Drought Monitor

The Drought Monitor updates each Thursday. This map updated on August 1.

Recent rainfall has helped drought conditions tremendously. Additional rainfall may even erase drought conditions by next week’s update!
