Upgraded to Winter Storm Warning

The winter storm warning goes into effect at midnight Friday and goes to Sunday evening.

Friday night to Sunday night.

A WINTER STORM WARNING is now in effect for the weekend. Significant wintry precip will have high impacts on travel and the power grid system. Use today to wrap up preparations.

A winter storm with high impacts is expected to bring treacherous conditions to the plateau this weekend. Please stay tuned for all the latest and thank you for trusting me with your forecast! Now is the time to prepare. Please make sure you have a safe alternative heat source if you rely on electricity for heat. With bitter cold temps coming next week, I want you to be safe and warm.
