5:19: The storm appears to have weakend just a bit. Winds are now estimated at 60 mph. It also appears to droppping more southward, which may cause Jamestown to miss the worst of it. It’s still too early to know that for sure.
5:14 Update: Earlier, this storm produced a confirmed 73 mph wind gust near Burkesville, KY>
5:07 Update: The storm is crossing the KY/TN borde now. It remains very intense.
5:00 pm : A severe t-storm warning has been issued for Pickett, Overton, and Fentress county until 5:45 pm. This is a particularly dangerous storm, with radar showing winds of up to 70 mph. Large hail has also been indicated. Please take this storm very seriously if you are in the path. This storm is moving southeast.
The warned area can be seen shaded in orange.
