You folks in southern Cumberland County have been getting impacted by a strong storm for some time now. While it’s not listed as severe by the NWS, it could produce damaging wind gusts with little or no warning. Torrential rainfall and frequent lightning are also occurring.

Another storm has rapidly developed in Fentress County. It could continue to intensify.

Other storms are likely to rapidly develop as we go through the afternoon. Stay weather aware.

So far, my concern continues unchanged….neither increasing or decreasing from this morning’s forecast.
