Good evening, everyone. I just wanted to do a quick update to let you know that a complex of storms is indeed trying to form in Kentucky at this hour but it is not impressive. As it moves southward, it should encounter a more stable atmosphere. However, I can’t rule out a strong or even severe storm with this as it drops south. I just wanted to let you know that I’m watching this and will let you know if there’s anything you need to know about.

Don’t be surprised if you hear thunder tonight.

The cluster of storms can be seen on the radar image below. It’s moving south-southeast. I’ll keep an eye on things!
