I have updated some of this morning’s slides to account for the lowered severe storm threat for today. Extensive cloud cover has helped keep the atmosphere more stable. We could still some strong storms, perhaps even an isolated severe storm, but that threat has decreased from this morning’s forecast.

I’ll issue any special updates, if needed, throughout the day.

We’re watching for an upper level disturbance to swing through the area this afternoon. It can be seen in the satellite imagery below as that dark area coming into Nashville now. That will move east and should kick off showers and storms for us this afternoon.
