Today’s weather map shows high pressure is building in this week across much of the country. That will keep major storm systems away for the next several days.

The National Hurricane Center now gives an area of low pressure a 70% chance of developing into a tropical depression or storm by the end of this week in the Gulf. That system will track north. Any interests along the northern Gulf Coast should monitor this closely. As a side note, we may see impacts from this over the weekend but that just depends on the track of that low. I’ll keep a close eye on it!
