MM’s Wx Analysis

High pressure is losing control in the eastern U.S. and that means storm systems can begin moving into that region. Showers will be widespread up the Mississippi River Valley, with the heaviest showers south of St. Louis. The most active weather is out West, were accumulating mountain snows are possible, along with flash flooding in Arizona.

The percentage of the land area of the contiguous U.S. covered in snow is at 3%. Yesterday it was also 3%.
