MM’s Wx Concerns

The exact track of Hurricane Ida will determine the impacts to the plateau. Right now, it looks like those impacts could be high. We could be looking at gusty winds, heavy rainfall, and even isolated tornadoes. I’ll keep a very close eye on things.

Meanwhile, be safe in the heat!

A warm and muggy night is in store for Tennessee. Under clear to partly cloudy skies, overnight lows will only drop into the 70s.

Tropical Storm Ida continues to gather strength. Maximum sustained winds are at 60 mph. Additional strengthening is likely. Then, the storm will impact wester Cuba. That will lead to weakening. The storm will then enter the Gulf of Mexico late tomorrow night.
